How many dogs can you walk at once?
The Crate Escape will not walk more than four dogs at a time and only when they are compatible. No Doggy fights on our watch!
Do you walk dogs outside of Peterborough city limits?
Usually not but we will consider the request based on the availability of our walkers. An additional premium will apply for the extra distance traveled.
Are services offered on weekends/holidays?
Depending on walker availability, yes. Holidays need to be booked ahead with at least two weeks notice. Premiums apply to services outside regular hours.
Do you do overnight pet sitting?
Unfortunately, we do not. We all have dogs of our own, rendering it difficult to be away from our own homes for the night. We do know of some fantastic boarding options, though, so feel free to ask!
Do you provide day care?
We do not provide full day care as we have many four-legged friends that all deserve their turn out for a walk with us. We would be happy to provide multiple visits for your dog though, should you be away for longer than usual.
Do you offer grooming?
We do not offer grooming, but are affiliated with some wonderful groomers and would be happy to put you in touch!
Why do I pay more for evening/weekend/holiday walks?
Walks outside of peak times are not in demand, and as such, we cannot offer a lower rate. Evenings, weekends and holidays are typically our time off to spend with our own families, and while we don’t mind the special trip to visit your dog, we need to recoup expenses required for visits outside of typical service times.

Yes! We are proudly protected by Profur.
What kind of training do your walkers receive?
All of our walkers are trained in Pet First Aid by Walks ‘N’ Wags, Dog Obedience Training as well as attending various seminars on animal behavior as they are available in our area.
